Calendula + St. John's Wort + Olive Oil

Preparation

Fill a clean glass jar with dried calendula petals and dried St. John's Wort in equal parts. Cover completely with cold-pressed olive oil. Seal and place in a warm, sunny spot for 4–6 weeks, shaking daily. Alternatively, gently heat in a pot on the lowest setting for 3–4 hours. Strain through muslin cloth and store in a dark glass bottle.

Usage

Clean the wound with clean water first. Apply the infused oil to the affected area 2–3 times daily using a clean cloth. Cover with a light bandage if needed. Do not use on deep puncture wounds or infected wounds without medical attention.
